Estudou Piano Clássico de 1980 a 1986 e Jazz e Harmonia Moderna no CLAM (Zimbo Trio) onde também lecionou de 1988 a 1992. No exterior, fez Estágio em Direção Musical em Londres, na Mountview Theatre School (1992) atuando como Pianista e Diretora Musical do musical inglês Pirates of Penzance de Gilbert & Sullivan. Em 1993/94 realizou uma Pesquisa em Flamenco e Música Clássica Espanhola em Madri, Sevilha e Jerez de la Frontera (Espanha), realizando o Concierto de Piano Solo “Del Brasil para España” em Madri e Londres. Atuou em São Paulo como pianista, diretora musical e arranjadora do espetáculo Broadway Babies (1993 a 1995) ao lado de Wellington Nogueira e em Histórias de Nova York de Dorothy Parker em 1994. Foi Assessora Musical da Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura Inglesa (1986-1992) e Diretora Musical de vários espetáculos tais como Rocky Horror Show, Blood Brothers,They are playing our song, Kiss me Kate, Cabaret, Little Shop of Horrors (Graded School) entre outros. Integrou a Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica por dois meses (1997) realizando Concertos com Gal Costa e Gilson Peranzetta. Foi integrante da Orquestra Heartbreakers (de 1995 a 1999) realizando tournês pela Europa (Bienal de Dança de Lyon-França-1996 e Portugal) e Caribe (Curaçao-1997). Lançou seu primeiro CD independente–“Refúgio”-em setembro de 1998 . Estudou Regência de Orquestra na Universidade Livre de Música (ULM) por dois anos. Compôs a trilha para a peça de teatro “Camila Baker” de Emilio Boechet e para o musical infantil “Monstros Peludos” de Guga Stroeter(1999) Compôs a trilha do curta metragem “A Idade do Coração” (1999) de Tammy Marrachine uma comédia musical para o cinema com Lucélia Santos de Eva Todor no elenco. Atualmente é integrante da Orquestra Havana Brasil formada por ex-integrantes da Orquestra Heartbreakers, com apresentações regulares aos domingos no Bourbon Street Music Club. Em abril de 2000 apresentou-se em Edinburgo-Escócia com seu trio no projeto Jazz Now divulgando o seu disco “Refúgio”. Atuou como pianista do programa de TV da Rede CNT "Frente e Verso", programa de entrevistas apresentado por Clodovil Hernandez . Foi diretora musical, arranjadora e pianista do show “ Eu, Maria Alcina.. Participou como pianista de vários shows dentre eles com Carmina Juarez, Rita Ribeiro, Chico César, Virgínia Rosa e Vanessa da Mata. Faz Participou do Cd “Havana Brasil ao Vivo” lançado em agosto de 2003 como arranjadora,compositora e pianista. de 2004. Concluiu o Mestrado em Música na UNICAMP em junho de 2004 com Bolsa da Capes. Esteve em cartaz na Tom Brasil com o espetáculo “Òpera do Malandro” -2005- Lança seu segundo CD “Duas Madrugadas”em maio de 2005. Atualmente atua como pianista e diretora musical de Fernanda Porto . Apresentou-se com seu quarteto no Festival de Lapataia em Punta del Leste- Uruguai em fevereiro de 2008/////////////////////////////////////////////Christianne Neves studied classical piano from 1980 to 1986, and jazz and modern harmony at CLAM (Zimbo Trio Music School), where she also taught from 1988 to 1992. In 1992, she spent a training period in Musical Direction at the Mountview Theatre School in London (sponsored by the British Council, São Paulo-SP) where she participated as pianist and musical director for the English musical Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan. In 1993/94 she researched Flamenco and Spanish Classical Music in Madrid, Seville and Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), performing the solo Piano concert “Del Brasil para España” (From Brazil to Spain) in the Lope de Vega Institut and Buena Vista Cultural Centre in Madrid and at Grosvenor Chapel in London. Together with Wellington Nogueira, she worked in São Paulo as Pianist, Musical Director and Music arranger of the performance Broadway Babies (1993 to 1995), as well as in Stories of New York by Dorothy Parker in 1994. Christianne was Musical Advisor of the Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura Inglesa-São Paulo (1986-1992) and Musical Director for several performances with the Cultura Inglesa Theatre Group (1986-1994), including Carmem Rock, Rocky Horror Show, Blood Brothers, They are playing our song, Kiss me Kate, Cabaret, Sing and Dance, The Mousetrap, and Little Shop of Horrors (Graded School-1992). She produced several jazz shows at Cultura Inglesa such as Sentimental Journey (with the jazz singer Misty-1986),”Let my people sing”(about negro spirituals, blues and jazz-1988), What..s on in London (about the musicals in London -1993). She was a member of the Heartbreakers’ Orchestra (from 1994 to 1998), going on tours throughout Europe (Dance Biennial of Lyon-France-1996 and Portugal-1996 and 1998) and the Caribbean (Curaçao-1997).In 1996 she produced the cd HB Hora do Brasil (The pré bossa-nova – launched in Portugal and Brasil)and was arranger and pianist as well. She also took part in the cd HB- Salsa Brasileira launched at this period by Polygram. She participated in the Sesc Copa e Cozinha Project (1998)as a band leader of Heartbreakers..s Orchestra working with several artists such as Elza Soares, Paulinho da Viola, Jair Rodrigues and Zeca Baleiro. She became a member of the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra for two months (1997), giving concerts with Gal Costa and Gilson Peranzetta. She produced the soundtrack for the MTV TV Program – Quiz MTV presented by Adriane Galisteu during 1998. She launched her first independent CD “Refúgio”- (instrumental and original music) in September 1998. Christianne has studied Conducting for Orchestras at the Universidade Livre de Música (ULM) for two years and composed the sound track for the play “Camila Baker” by Emilio Boechet and for the children’s musical “Monstros Peludos” (Hairy Monsters) by Guga Stroeter (1999). She also composed the sound track for the short-feature movie “A Idade do Coração” (Age of the Heart-1999) by Tammy Marrachine, a musical comedy for the movie with Lucélia Santos and Eva Todor. Currently, she is a member of the Havana Brasil Orchestra formed by ex-members of the Heartbreakers’ Orchestra, presenting regular shows every Sunday at the Bourbon Street Music Club since 2000. In April 2000 she participated in the Jazz Now festival in Edinburgh, Scotland with her trio, publicizing her CD “Refúgio” doing several shows. She worked as pianist in CNT’s "Frente e Verso" (Front and Back), a TV program of interviews presented by Clodovil Hernandez and was Musical Director, Arranger and Pianist of the show “Eu, Maria Alcina” (I, Maria Alcina). She also performed as pianist in several shows with such well-known artists as Carmina Juarez, Rita Ribeiro, Chico César, Virgínia Rosa, Vanessa da Mata, Rosa Maria and participated as arranger, composer and pianist in the CD “Havana Brasil ao Vivo” (Havana Brazil Live), launched in August 2003 and “Havana Brasil em cartaz” launched in 2006. She has toured in Brazil with Tito Puente Jr and Havana Brasil playing original salsa arrangements by Tito Puente. With a scholarship from Capes (Co-ordination for the advancement of college graduates), she studied for her Master’s Degree in Music at UNICAMP (University of Campinas), where she graduated in June 2004 presenting the work “Compositions for films in the example of Dave Grusin” about music and cinema. She took part in the performance of “Ópera do Malandro” (Opera of the Rogue) -2005- at Tom Brasil and launched her second CD “Duas Madrugadas” (Two Dawns) in May of the same year. She was Arranger, Composer, Pianist and Producer of the DVD Fernanda Porto- EMI- recorded with 26 musicians and several guest artists at Tom Brasil in April-2006. She is currently pianist and musical director for Fernanda Porto. She has performed with her quartet at Festival de Lapataia- Punta del Leste- Uruguai in February 2008
