The goal of UIP is to compete on the same level as Democrats and Republicans. Research shows that 70% of Americans are Independent, which means 30% of Americans only vote along Democrat or Republican lines. So 70% of Americans are left no organized choice other than the lesser of the two major parties.____________________________________________________ ________

To look into the formation of a third Independent Party, one that will unify the nation and focus on domestic policy._____________________________________________________ _______ WHAT IS NEEDED Besides a name and funding, volunteers are needed in every state to begin a grassroots campaign to formulate a third Independent Party. I am looking for advisors for all of the issues listed below. ____________________________________________________________ WHY AN INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY? Americans are feeling more alienated with the two party system. There isn't an individual or party that is bridging the gap or divide between the two parties. Americans have become more independent an open-minded with their vote. America is looking for a new choice with fresh ideas. ____________________________________________________________
