Fresh out of the ghetto of Swallowfield in Kingston, David Slew is a versatile artist who brings hardcore dancehall to another level and easily switches to a smooth melodic tone for the girls. This multitalented singer and song writer who even does his own harmonies has been singing and dejaying from the age of 15 and used to go by the name of 2nd Killer inspired by his then idol Bounty Killer. He developed a name for himself in his community and at school by performing at various stage shows.
In 2004 he was introduced to Mario Lawrence; CEO and founder of Music Factory with whom he is currently voicing some hot singles to be unleashed on the world in the near future as he perfects his craft. David Slew wants to bring something new to Reggae Music at large through his writing styles and vocal delivery. He wants his music to also reflect his spiritual side and bring people to a greater enlightenment of life and love.
