Detailed...My name is Henry Fitzroy. I'm a 450-year-old Duke of Richmond and the bastard son of Henry VIII. I currently make Toronto my home while maintaining my handsome young looks. I devote my working hours to creating visually and conceptually stunning graphic novels. My work fuses the often unsettling visions and revelations I experience in my long life in the night and the exploration of humanity; powerful ideas and emotions which question the essence of what it is to be human. Despite the popularity of my work, I've managed to keep a low profile from society at large, fostering the image of a reclusive artist.
Constantly wrestling with my dual nature - that of a savage hunter and a civilized man - I've spent the better part of my life constructing and maintaining the persona people recognize me by.
My human tastes run from trip-hop and electronica to, somewhat ironically, classic horror flicks. Although I often express myself through my wry humor I am fiercely intelligent and display my darker, more serious side when facing issues of real gravity. It's only when the hunger rises in me that people see the real Henry; the feral killer always a millimeter beneath the controlled facade.
