I currently work in DFW as an instructor, choreographer, director, producer, and performer. I teach different disciplines of jazz dance, as well as burlesque. Experience elegance of ballet combined with Velvet Kitten burlesque jazz stylings in this specially designed Velvet Kitten signature burlesque dance class!
Balletlesque is a VK recipe incorporating the world’s oldest beauty exercise and foundation of all dances, and spices it up with the sassiness of burlesque jazz dance in an integrated class course. Balletlesque focuses on gaining flexibility, strength, muscle control, poise and grace, whilst enhancing the fluidity of movements and maintaining posture while dancing.
This class is excellent for anyone who has ever wanted to take ballet (but was afraid to try), and is offered at the beginner level.
Velvet Kitten dancer and instructor Stevie Swan will have you gliding with the grace of a swan, and dipping with the lightness of champagne bubbles!
