Modern Women's Fiction

About Me

Modern Women’s Fiction was started by a small group of girls during the summer of 2006. Originally hosted on a free forum, MWF slowly became the blog and forum it is today. In short, Modern Women’s Fiction is a dedicated group of young ladies (we’re all as young as we feel, right?) who have come together for their one common stomping ground: women’s literature. What else could unite a group of women spread all across the world? Whether discussing the hilarious journey of a Miss Becky Bloomwood, the heart-warming tales from Susan Wiggs, or the timeless classics of Jane Austen, we’re completely mesmerized by the astounding talent of these lady authors.
What is modern women’s fiction, you ask? Well to us, it’s the combined genre of all literature written by and for women. Romance, chick-lit, women’s fiction, erotica (gasp), etc. are all modern women’s fiction and will most likely be featured or reviewed on this blog at some point or another. Most often you’ll see a common journey of love and friendships in these works.
