Sound Method

About Me

Bio: Heartfelt, driven, catchy, melodic rock. This has always been the vision behind Sound Method's music. Begun as a collaboration between college buddies that wanted to make a difference in what they felt was increasingly a blasé music scene, Sound Method has come a long way since and ready to get into the music scene. After three years, the band has performed dozens of live shows (including some with national artists), been played on over 150 radio stations around the country, and recorded a full-length album.Consistently receiving great reviews (nines across the board from TAXI), Sound Method's music is familiar enough to make you nod your head and want to sing along, but diverse enough to keep you wanting to hear the next song. Addictive, melodic hooks accentuate lyrics about love, life, hope, and at times personal pain and loss. Punchy guitar-driven verses build into soaring choruses, while mellow piano ballads melt into symphonic bridges. The band finds similarities with artists that range from Foo Fighters to Switchfoot to Sanctus Real.Sound Method toured in 2008 across the southeast to promote their 2008 album "Start Over". Currently the band is writing some new material, and will start booking some shows in their hometown of Chattanooga this fall.Sound Method is: Josh Eskridge (vocals, guitar), Drew Norris (guitar, keys), Justin Sperazza (bass), and Devon Norris (drums).
