Michael Langeder worked as study assistent at the department for Contemporary Art at the Technical University of Graz. He is founder of the vj collective “Flimmerflitzer” based in Graz (Austria), dealing with live generated visuals using the programming environment “pure data” and producing an interaction between music, visual output and the physical surrounding area. One of the basic concepts is the implementation of 3d models and objects that are re-interpreted during the live performance as abstract virtual scenarios and real time motion graphics - “the visual output may influence my work as an architect and vice versa”. He illuminated walls and screens at events all over Austria as well as in Belgium, Spain and Venezuela. Besides he realized together with Romana Rust different multimedia projects like “14400 - interactive plant growing”, or a music video production for the band Mindcave (Go-Tv).
