Fleet Street started in January 2007 when 3 young musicians met at one of the Round House' Live Jam courses.Volkan, Deng and Kwame decided to start a band. They got Femi and Mathew to play Drums and Bass (their friends from school and the Round House) and all came together to make some music.
Due to some complications, Kwame, Femi and Mathew left the band, after some line up changes, The Final line up was established. With a new bassist and drummer, and a Guitarist being added, Fleet Street was formed.From then on we have been writing, performing and practising constantly, working extremely hard to get better and deliver a new sound to a indie flooded music scene. We have performed in many venues just to name a few, The Round House, Bullet Bar, Solo Bar, Clockwork, Leonards Music Bar and many others. Our blend of Soul, Pop and Rock/Metal influences create what is evidently a sound representing our individuality and hunger to introduce the world to an original sound rather than the generic 3 chord anthems of current times.
