About Me

Andy Vought wrote, recorded and produced his second album entitled Where Moonlight Resides, in his home studio in Norfolk, Virginia with the actual recording happening between the months of January and April of 2008. Departing from the full band type of sound on his first album, Lucid Evening Sky, Andy decided to write songs of a more minimal solo acoustic sound. His decision to pare down his sound was mostly due to a desire to create a more intimate listening experience that more closely matched his live sound as a solo acoustic performer. During his live performances, Andy tends to play material from his two albums as well as a mixture of covers from his influences.
