Chronicles Magazine

About Me

"The Chronicles" is a magazine which is produced and published by the London Vampyre Group and various supporting groups and individuals. It seeks to promote interest and discussion about all aspects of the Gothic, pagan, fetish and vampyre genres. Articles cover cinema, literature, music, art and style and there are reports, reviews and opinions on a variety of related topics. From its early beginnings during 1996, the Chronicles has undergone several changes in style and format and has always endeavoured to be a service to the Vampyre and Gothic scene. Our approach has been many sided and eclectic and within its pages we have never avoided controversy and discussion as we feel that differences of opinion are healthy and encourage outward thinking. This has helped us avoid the trap of becoming narrow and introspective. We regard with some sadness the appearance and subsequent demise of fanzines which run out of things to talk about simply because of their limited approach.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who would like to read, buy or contribute to the magazine! We are keen to further develop this magazine both technically and in terms of its coverage. Also we wish to reach out to more readers and so you are encouraged to read our magazine and also to contribute in whatever way you might choose. One proviso is that any prose, poetry or graphic work has to be of passable quality as there is much poor stuff of dubious talent circulating out there! The Chronicles is available as part of LVG membership, or £3.50 per issue (back copies available) online from the LVG website ( www.revamped.co.uk/lvg/chronicles.htm ) , or at various distributors including Forbidden Planet, Another World, Treadwells in London, Gothic Crafts in Whitby & others.
