Grumbleboat hail from the pubs of East London. Being part of the same skate and drink scene for many years the band formed to play some back to basics punk rock and bring loud obnoxious fun back into the lives of the dwindling punk mass'. Many wet Sunday afternoons were spent hanging out in the basement of a friends tattoo shop (CULT CLASSIC in Romford) thrashing away at a bunch of ridiculous ideas before it was decided to mark the occasion and record the EP 'Welcome to Hellstone', the 13 track, 16 minute long musical delight.
Fast forward to mid 2008 and the addition of a second guitarist, George Coffey, sneakily stolen from gigging mates and local punks Kickin' Pigeons and the release of a second record 'Grumble and Grunt''GRUMBLE & GRUNT' available to buy in ALL AGES RECORDS on PRATT STREET, just off of CAMDEN HIGH ROAD
Listen to 'Armshouse' exclusively at ' The Travis Bickle Club !
