About Me

Musician, magician's assistant, dancing gorilla, stripper. Been there, done that, took off the t-shirt! I've always loved performing, and I've been lucky enough to make somewhat of a living at it for a number of years.
For years I fronted the (I hate this phrase) Celtic rock band (ugh, I said it) Hiring Fair. Based in Boston, we were an eclectic group with a phenomenal turnover rate! The best line-ups were the ones when everyone had fun and nobody had an agenda. That's a hard thing to come by in a band! We managed to pull it off for about 17 minutes total.
Hiring Fair played 2.3 gazillion pubs and festivals. We were fortunate enough to get away with doing a lot of original material. Actually, we just did it. Usually people got into it. Sometimes we tanked. (Honesty in a bio? What the f*ck am I thinking?)
Seriously though, being in a band is great, but it's a lot freaking harder than most people think. That's why in 2002 I retired after 8 years of touring. But now I'm back with "Mud Angel", a project that I sum up as "Turf, Wind & Fire". Rock and Roll, with trad stuff, horns, and just maybe a gold lame jacket or two, LOL!
And of course, if he's willing.... a duet with LK....
Okay, that's about it for this bio stuff. Eventually I'll do up a real one, but for now I'll stick with the informal approach. Oh, and if you're wondering....I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Utopia, and not the band. (WAY beyond the norm for me!)

A story I wrote for a friend of a friend of who needed a 2,000 word short story/essay on Utopia.  Due to word & subject constraints, I had to make this shorter and happier than I probably wou...
