About Me

I have been playing the drums for about 25 years now and I am still learning something new everyday. Lately, I have been into more of a funk groove mind set striving to play for the band and really just trying to lay down a smooth groove for everyone to dig. Drums are a way of life for me ...I couldn't imagine my life without them. I enjoy practicing to funk grooves, classic and new rock, and messing up on many jazz and latin patterns. Over these 25 years I have owned many sets, but right now I am playing a six piece Gretsch set that sounds absolutely amazing...my cymbals are a mix of Sabian and Zildjian. Looking back on past gigs, bands, and fill in shows I have played with some outstanding musicians. My first experiences playing out were when I was in fifth grade ...when my father would bring me to a Holiday Inn and have me sit in with the band for a few songs. From there I was hooked! Over the last 8 years I have played with or sat in with: Sauce, The Rascals, Section3, Nuthin' Fancy, Third World Lover, Los Infartos, The Buffalo Project, Scotch Logic The John Long Band and Zute.
