That Dude From the Bar that Night

About Me

I am a freelance scholar and a bookworm. Writer, visionary and prophet (okay that one is a lie). Currently writting 3 different movies at the same time leaves me little time for reality and any sense of normal life. That is one hell of a way to introduce myself, here, let me try it this way..........Hi. Even if you don't know my name, you know my sound. I play downtown on the street sometimes durring the night, it helps me relax after work. I don't want your money, although when I take it from you it just means that I will give it to someone else. If it were possible I would choose to live without it. Free expression, even if you don't like what you hear that's all I do. I take the setting in and turn that into the energy that I need to make that sound work. Sometime I don't stay long and move around, others I find a spot I like and stay there untill the sun comes up. It kinda sounds like I am a hobo with a guitar doesn't it. But trust me I am not. I'm just a stranger, trying to figure out the meaning of life through my music.I have been playing music all my life and I am very thankful to have this gift. The guitar, to me, is more then just an instrument it is a part of the player. Each is different, each the same. With an instrument, the player creates. That is as close to an act of "God" (don't get offended you know what I mean) that we as humans can even come close to. The notes don't just go away after you play them, they get absorbed by the surroundings. Be it the walls or the people in the area they all take it in.

I wish I could play like this.......... width="425" height="350" ..
Sounds Like: The sound emitting from my old Washburn guitar is one of beauty and saddness. Love and anger are the two most powerfull sounds that I conjure with the help of my monkey( who guards the donations that are given) and the area in which I play. Sound without words, feeling without nerves, and a voice with no mouth. All discribe the style that I command from the six strings on my guitar.
