My Interests

Art. Mostly Art.

I'd like to meet:

Motivated people with ambition.

Music:

Lightning Bolt, Tool, Japanther, System of a Down, Deftones, Squarepusher, Gary Numan, The Faint, The Shins, David Bowie, etc.

Movies:

American Psycho, The Iron Giant, Batman Begins, Pan's Labyrinth, (regular) Labyrinth, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Seventh Seal, Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army of Darkness, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Village, What is it?!, Nosferatu, LOTR Trilogy, Star Wars IV-VI, Rushmore, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Royal Tennenbaum's, Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Extinction, Batman, Batman Returns, Superman Returns, Spiderman 1-3, Signs, The Village, A League of Their Own, The Natural, 2001, The Shining (original), Your Friends and Neighbors, In the Company of Men, Ghostbusters 1-2, Stripes, Spies Like Us, etc.

Television:

The single greatest thing ever on television. This clip changed my life and I would not be who I am today had I not seen this as a toddler in 1983 and then many times until the early 90s.Otherwise I have to admit that I dislike television. It's not that I have a problem with TV - it's simply the most bland waste of time on the planet and possibly the pinnacle of passivity. It's more or less intolerable and should be avoided at all costs (except the History Channel, and baseball games).

Books:

1,000 Plateaus, Flicker, The Magus, The Stranger, etc.

Heroes:

Martin Kippenberger, Crispin Glover, David Lynch, David Bowie, and Christian Bale.
