Nomads of the Nook

About Me

"It all started when three disciples of the Temple of Funk happened to cross paths in a lazy-ass town called Englewood. As fellow reggaeninjas, they felt it necessary to carry on the tradition of Irie shit in the sub-tropical tourist trap. Thus, became Nomads of the Nook.
The Nomads strive to incorporate all styles that influence them. In the beginning, the band played simple reggae songs. Eventually their variety of musical interests melded together. Heavy rock kept the music intense, progressive elements worked the brains, and the almighty jam became the portal into the minds of the musicians.
An integral part of their band philosophy is the willingness to move on to greener pastures -- to frequently travel from one idea to the next, boldly trying new things while staying true to their roots. The small town spirit and attitude of E-wood is reflected in many aspects of the Nomads' music. As long hungry ears are about, Nomads of the Nook will remain."
