About Me

My name is Owen Huynh.
I'm a graduate of NEiA. I lived in Somerville '86 to '00-ish. Currently living in MA.
I like to teach people who want to learn. I love working with computers. My new favorite app is Illustrator. Final Cut is pretty cool too.
I hate seafood. I really can't drink milk. Ack! Horrible taste. Cows are cool though! I love cows. I love Red Bull...for now. I love sweets, and fruity juices rule!
I think too much. About random stuff, most of the time. Like what would I do if I could fly? And how does it feel to be shot on the leg? And what was the name of that band who played that one song I liked a few weeks ago? How should I rearrange my room come vacation? Do plants have feelings? Can you really kill a sandwich? Because I thought I did. Yeah...stuff like that.
I always think of random cooking recipes that I never try because I'm too lazy.
I like to make my own sites from scratch, so I'm gonna have to say this site is staying plain, but I got another site up that I made. Maybe you'll check it out. Maybe not. I'm actually proud of it since I did some new css tricks to it that I learned recently.

My Interests

Reading, Anime, Manga, Poetry, Drawing, Video Games, AIM, believe it or not - writing essays (mainly criticism)

My old dog, Baby. I miss her so much. I grew too attached to her. I wonder how she's doing, or if she's even still alive...

Music:

Hmm. A majority of my music is Soundtracks from anime, movies, or games that I have either watched or played. Or both. I got OSTs for Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy Series, Noir, Bleach, Gundam SEED, Naruto, RahXephon, .//Hack, and Zelda. Other music comes from mostly Asian singers like Ayumi Hamasaki, Shinhwa, Utada Hikaru, etc. Asian songs go from Cantonese to Manderin, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. I also enjoy Disney music from time to time. Also I listen to some techno, and Dane Cook. My fav? Pachelbel's Cannon in D by Vienna Boys Choir. Too bad my phone's speaker sucks. Can't handle it as a ring tone :(

Movies:

Sci-Fi, Anime, Horror Films, War Movies like Band of Brothers, Street-Racing stuff, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman. Love anything comedy (Jackass 2 a recent one, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman). And I love Asian movies/series. I don't really care if it's in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, or Cantonese (except Vietnamese. I can't stand the dubbing!). I get hooked on Asian movies pretty easily.

Television:

Family Guy, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Ninja Warrior, AZN Television

Books:

Some manga, Bridge to Teribethia, Tale of Two Cities, Canterbury Tales, Calvin and Hobbes, Dark Elf Trilogy, yeah... I don't read much anymore.

Heroes:

Dad!!!! Dammit. He's my greatest hero. I only wish he were still around.
