Matt Zwarts

Matt Zwarts is a 23 year old beat maker from a small town just outside of manchester called oldham. The beggining of him making his own music started in 2002 when he went to oldham college to study music technolgy. Quickly making friends with "martin cook" he began to take an interest in electronic music.It started with Koti-to, the electronica 4 piece band that he joined after meeting "martin cook" at college. Playing guitar for Koti-to earned him the friendship of "Tez Marner" who years later matt still hangs and makes music with to this day.After the long run of the infermous "circle nights" at jcksons pit and 360 gallery bar Koti-to ceased to make music and slowly came to a holt meaning matt no was ready to make his own music and push it out there.Matt has allways had a deep love for hip hop ever since meeting "Enoch", a oldham based rapper, but even thou his music is very hip hop influenced there is still a hint of his electronica roots from Koti-to.Every so often he trys to get out and play DJ sets in and around manchester,spinning mostly hip hop although he has very eclectick taste in music."from an early age I allways remember my dad playing reggae and dub on vynl and I guess thats where I really started to take an interest in music" - matt zwartsMatt has a flare for working with different people and in the past has worked with "Enoch" and "ezekiel" "Danny Irving" from "October Crisis" and "Tez Marner" from Koti-to.He likes to think his music is soulfull and holds personal emotions for anyone who listens to it.
