French composer, guitarist and videographer, also member of the VORTEX duet [Here VORTEX Myspace page] .
The first VORTEX album "EKSAIPHNES" is a real electric & experimental album, with walls of guitars sound, vocals deep in the mix, but also features quiet instrumental pieces of music in a more "ambient" mood, influenced by bands such as Suicide, My Bloody Valentine, Glenn Branca, Killing Joke, Sonic Youth... It's released on the famous French independent label "Les Disques du Soleil et de l'Acier" [DSA Shop!] .
The disc got a very favourable reception in the specialized press, in France and abroad.
Nico also composed for the experimental theater, for contemporary dance and different art performances, always working on prepared guitars and acoustic phenomena.
Since 2007, he's involved in the contemporary danse project "LA FRANGE INDECISE", with the choreographer Sylvia Hillard, melting dance with live music and installations.

He starts to make an experimental animation film "LUZ", in the mood of Youri Norstein and Sergueï Parajanov.
Nico currently continues the new creation of an experimental danse/video project "SAMSARA" with S.Hillard, taking place in the strange urban lanscape of Reykjavik. It will give place soon to wild performances...
