MELINDA DAHL PHOTOGRAPHY

August 6th 1981: Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.1981-1992: Mother's portraits of the three Dahl sisters inspire Melinda to be a photographer.1992: Begins using SLR camera and taking photography classes with mother Sara.1993-1999: Attends Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts for six years, majoring in Dramatic Arts.1998: Apprentices with photographer David Leyes in Toronto as well as study with some other perverted yet successful photographers.1999: Travels to Europe with twin sister Caitlin for four months, studying French in Paris and continues to pursue photography.2000-2002: Attends Ryerson University majoring in photography and Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto.2002: Moves to LA to pursue photography and acting professionally.2003: Holds a joint art show with Mercedes Helnwein, Ali Helnwein and Caitlin Dahl.
