Zulu Lulu

we are an original music project begun two years ago and all is now falling into place. my name is alan. i write the songs, sing lead vocals, play guitar. my very good collaberators are ryan , who plays bass and sings backing vocals , keyboards and theramin,and chad, the human metronome on drums, backing vocals, and theramin. both are seasoned musicians with whom i have the pleasure to play. both take the songs i write and make them what has become our sound. as of late we announce a most welcome addition ot our band. jessica has joined us as our new keyboard player and member of our family. our sound is unusual and not easy to describe .about love, politics, certainly rock, a bit distorted , abrasive. melodic, not pop, off center. introspective and danceable if you posess an extra appendage. our best compliment came from the owner of the blackstone, marion, who told us " i can't describe you guys, you are just..... weird". we strive for weird. we do not fill a niche or are part of a genre in music. our sound is unique. we are currently working on 22 original songs and a few choice covers and are becoming tighter and more energetic. our promo cd is a work in progress and will be ready soon. we feel we will be a force on the local music scene.
