Dark Ward is metalcore band with alternative metal, thrash metal and experimental music influences from Vilnius, Lithuania. Dark Ward was formed by Alex [Rust] in early 2005. The first year band had more industrial influences than a rock. Dark Ward played at local clubs and changed many members from a beginning till 29 august 2006 year (becoming official dark ward birth date). That day band played an industrial metal on Local Police party. Dark Ward played it last gig as industrial (experimental) metal band in March 2007. From that moment and until present time the band, and the members changed their ambitions and interests, found other more strong influences. More members have been replaced with others due to lack of skills, or simply because of the dislikes to the style of music. Now band is playing a mix of Metalcore and Alternative metal with many music influences. Dark Ward was a headliner at Alternative Music Charity Show “Pulse” (2006) and won “Rock vs Rap” tournament (2007). First [Dark Ward] official release will be out at early 2007 spring.
