About Me

I'm too busy for my own good! I'm in 4th year at The Robert Gordon University studying Publishing with Journalism and it's well hard. Dissertation to be done...oh dear! When I'm not doing that I am one of the co-founders of Granite City Records, a non-profit record label to promote music in Aberdeen. We have our first release: a free compilation CD out now at www.myspace.com/granitecityrecordsuk. I am also the founder of GFN? Promotions/Records bringing the best punk/ska/hardcore to Aberdeen www.myspace.com/gfnrecords and we book tours, release records and do a zine as well and I also play bass for Escape to Victory www.myspace.com/escapetovictoryuk and book our out of town gigs. In the past I've done a lot of writing for the likes of The Fly magazine, Is this Music?, The Lemon Tree magazine and a variety of fanzines. Oh, and I work in a newsagent. I love discovering new music, visiting new places, meeting new people, learning new things (like about history and cool stuff not learning how to work machinery and things although maybe I should), football, wrestling, cricket, comics, real ale and loads of other stuff!90%

"Tell everyone you know, I got too much rhythm to waste on acting macho"
