He is not allowed in the shop due to obvious sanitation issues but he is definately here in spirit. He is a cat that is all about the love, and that is what the shop is about. We are here to serve the customer and make sure they get the best possible art they can get in the cleanest environment possible. Our crew is a tight knit family that loves what we do and want to share that energy and excitement with our clients!
ABOUT OUR ARTISTS;KENT HOLTZ, has been tattooing here at the lake for 7 years now and is proud to call Fat Tobes his home. He is also excited to have the honor of working alongside incredible tattoo artists with amazing backgrounds and ability. These artists are not just everyday artists trying to pretend like they've been around and have impressive experience, THEY ACTUALLY DO! So stop in and visit with us and I'm sure you will be impressed and agree we have a great crew!DOC WOLFE, he has been tattooing here in Missouri for over 40 years now. He actually opened the first tattoo shop in Kansas City, The Illustrated Man, in 1971. He is a great artist with amazing stories from his career as he's worked with many tattoo and has secured his place right beside them in tattoo history. If you hear of a tattoo legend such as Bert Grimm, Greg Irons, Ed Horton, Jack Rudy, Good Time Charley or just about any other tattoo legend doc probably has a story about them, from first hand experience.DUSTIN HOLLINSWORTH, Dustin is a hard working aspiring tattoo artist just breaking into the industry and making his mark as our other artists have. Dustin is working hard and has shown great promise these last 2 years! Watch out for him to step right up and follow the history of our other great artists here at Fat Tobes! He will give you a tattoo you will be proud to say you got here at Fat Tobes.SHANE WALL, Shane is our newest addition but not new to tattooing. Shane came to Fat Tobes from the Ft. Leonardwood area and has been proving himself as a great artist ever since. Shane is always looking to exceed his customers expectations and does just that!GUEST ARTISTS!!!!! Fat Tobes frequently hosts top artists from around the country. These arsits include Terri Dutra, L.T. Woods, and other artists to come that have been featured in many tattoo publications and on television!Our goal was to open a tattoo studio that was a little more modern than the average studio, yet still had some traditional tattoo shop feel to it. We don't have flash plastered all over the walls, instead we have some hung gallery style and the rest (thousands of designs) is in books and on computer. Speaking of the computer, we have a computer in the lobby for customers to browse through our designs as well as search online for designs.So, if you haven't stopped by to check out our shop yet, what are you waiting for??!
