My name is Lindsay and I am trying to open a cookie design business in Anchorage Alaska. I'm the girl bare foot in the kitchen with flare. Hopefully this won't be like anything ever done before. We'll see. The idea is to take art and make it a part of yourself by eating it. I have lots of ideas and plans but am looking for any input anyone might have. I am an art major in college right now and became bored with oils and charcoal and wanted to experiment with different mediums. I discovered that baking and decorating with a spin was something that I really enjoyed doing and I was still able to release all my creative energy. I want my cookies and my shop to be an experience for all the senses. Something unique. I am still working on the perfect batch of dough and different frosting recipes. I even have a secret ingredient! My shop will be and explosion of color, with art dripping from the walls, with warm delicious tea to drink, lots of comfy seating and pillows but not so much it will detract from my custom cookies.
