Hey Everyone..
Katie Bernstein was born in Manchester and is studying at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts earning a BA Honours in Performing Arts - Acting. Born in Manchester, Katie performs in Manchester mainly but also peforms in other cities such as London and Liverpool. Some of Katies past gigs include,
Manchester Christmas Light Switch on 2006,
BBC'S Proms in the Park (supporting Katie Melua),
Singing at an evening for General Colin Powel and guests, and
The Michael Elliot Trust Awards London - Dame Judi Dench being one of the main guests. Where she performed along side artists such as Chris de Burgh.
Taking the influence of so many different talented artists especially the classic sound of the old school jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, Katie is trying to create her own sound aswell as writing lyrics.
Katie would also like to make a personal thank you to Dan Holeman from Roots Music Group for co-producing the tracks, along with the amazingly talented Jon Christos.
