Congratulations,You just found the Del Rays’ myspace page.The Del Rays is a finnish rock ’n roll band focusing on the sounds and moods of the 1955-1960 US rock and roll acts.Pure rock'n roll - no compromises!Been looking for a new drummer since 12/2008,so we've kept a real low profile for some time now.At the moment the future looks better though.Thank You Jone,wellcome Jani. A short presentation of the members: EIKKA R. – lead guitar.A true veteran,played rockabilly in the 60’s.Played in many bands since that:Rock Rastas,The Rhythm Wheel Combo,Hal Peters Trio/& his Stringdusters,Teucca & his Rhythm Aces…Eikka plays an Italia Modena guitar,with a P-90 in bridge position,through a Selmer tube amp. TIMO U. – bass.Eikkas’ sideman since day one,I guess.Well,since the mid 80’s anyway.A true gentleman here.Plays a cool Danelectro Longhorn bass,with an unbelieveable cool tone.The secret of his sound:well,it’s a secret… JANI L. - drums. Longtime friend Jani agreed to join the Del Rays after we twisted his arm for quite some time.Jani operates his Beat Garage Studio and plays the sticks with Paul & Troikka.Our demo was recorded at BGS and we're really happy to have such a multi-talented person in the band. TIMO T. – sax.Learned to play saxophone in the early 80’s because no one else would.A lifelong member of Dr. Snout & his Hogs of Rhythm .Plays both baritone and tenor sax with us.
