Influences: My influences start with my mother and father. My mother is a beautiful singer and my father is also a singer, songwriter, and musician. Coming from my era of musical influences are Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah, Mc Lyte, Salt and Pepa, Beyonce, Lil Moe, Monica, Alicia Keys and every other female and male that is making a positive influence on people. My old school influences are Aretha Franklin (hey RE RE!!!), Chaka Khan, Teena Marie, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, and my girl Billie Holiday (you are truly a legend!!!). Gospel influences include Shirley Cesear (my bishops wife) ,Juanita Bynum-Weeks, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Ce Ce Winans and the very talented Pheobe Hines (from my home town!!!).
