About me...where shall I begin without sounding too cheezy? LOL! Scorpios can never do that so let me just tell you who I am. First and foremost, I am a mother who will always put her kids before ANYONE! Just like the pages I pen, my kids are my life as well! In 1996, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the tender age of 19, but I don't let it consume me or my life. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have it! If I claim it, it will claim me and that I can't have because I've got things to do, places to go and people to see. I am an established author with no future plans of powering down my laptop. I've been writing since I learned how, but didn't take my gift seriously until I reached college where I realized that I did not want to spend the rest of my life doing something that I didn't love. Don't get me wrong, I got my Journalism degree mainly to please the family, but my heart was elsewhere. I wanted to write novels, contemporary or urban fiction novels filled with loads of drama, lies, love, lust and sex, so I followed my heart. I completed my first novel, FLING, when I was 22. After receiving rejection letters from a few publishing companies, I sort of gave up, but I knew that I had a gift that the world needed to know about. In 2005, a local publishing company, KyteFlyte Productions www.kyteflyte.com, took a chance on me and published my novel. ( "FLING" ISBN: 0-9764801-9-0 $12.99 ) A'int no stopping me now!! March 2008, the MOCHA CHOCOLATE anthology was born. It features a number of hot and steamy erotic, short stories from a number of talented, aspiring authors (myself included). Recently, I was informed that my short story THE ESCORT will be featured (2009) in a contemporary, erotica anthology published through Trendsetters Publications and another short story, DECEITFUL LOVE, will be featured through LadyEllePublishing in an erotic anthology Chocolat Historie D'Amour-Anthology March 2009....Narrated in the voices of various authors, Chocolat Histoire D'Amour, french for Chocolate Love Stories, will bring captivating tales of African American love and relationships, told from the point of view of some of the best authors in the literary entertainment industry.
