About Me

Songwriter - A native of Dracut, MA, after visiting Nashville for years to write/demo/pitch/play, I finally made the move to Nashville in 2007 to devote myself full time to writing. I also continue to compose instrumental music which has been placed in music libraries, Muzak programs, and TV.
I'm also honored to be a songwriter with the Songs of Love Foundation (http://www.songsoflove.org). I write and produce custom-crafted songs for seriously ill children.
Keyboardist/instrumentalist/vocalist - I have extensive keyboard experience covering many genres. I play piano and synth, acoustic guitar, blues harp, and vocals. I've had the pleasure of being in the opening lineup for a number of major country acts either as soloist or keyboardist/sideman, namely: America, Jeff Bates, Dwight Yoakam, George Jones and Gary Allan.
Artist - I released 2 independent projects which were well-received at Indie radio, including the Americana Airplay (R&R), Roots Music Report, and PowerSource (Christian Country).
Awards - Along the way, I've been blessed a number of awards for my writing and my solo projects, including
- 2008 Songwriter of the Year nominee, Country Christian Music Association
- 2006 ICM Song Contest Winner - "Good Lemonade"
- 2006 NACMAI Songwriter of the Year
- 2005 Billboard World Song Contest Honorable Mention
- 2005 NHCMA Songwriter of the Year
- 2005 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Finalist
- 2005 NACMAI CD of the Year - Country
- 2004 Mountain Stage NewSong Festival finalist
- 2004 NHCMA CD of the Year
- 2004 NHCMA Songwriter of the Year
- WOKQ-FM 2004 New England Country Star Search Finalist

Another birthday’s rolling around

Well, another birthday's about to come and go, and I'm going to spend it writing, then playing out. What could be more fun? Just finished "Zeroville" by Steve Erickson. Weird, but interesting. che...
