Born in Kiev Ukraine, Vadim moved to Canada at the age of 8. He is self-taught in playing several instruments including; vocals, keyboards, bass, and guitar. Vadim is an artist who feels comfortable both on stage, and in the studio. Known for his sharp production skills and an electrifying stage presence, he explores a wide range of styles, and is influenced by an array of artists from across the spectrum. With 2 decades of performance credits under his belt, Vadim continues doing what he does best - creating new music and entertaining his audience. He has worked with some of the best musicians around, and has performed all over the world in several bands, both as lead vocalist, and as a bass player. Having always been fascinated with Asia, In 2003, Vadim decided to go check it out. Since his arrival to Korea – he has carved his way into the Asian world of Entertainment, and has had a major impact on the foreign music scene. With an extensive song catalog ranging from pop, alternative rock, indie rock, to electronic, he released his first full-length solo album in 2007 entitled "Let the Animals Do the Talking", a collection of 16 electronic rock tracks. The completion of the album led to the formation of the group: Vadim & The New Regime, a 5-piece line-up consisting of members: Brad Wheeler on drums, Mike Dowding on bass, Brodie Read on guitar, and Nick Antolini on sax. The band played non-stop at popular clubs throughout Seoul for one year before deciding to take a break to pursue other interests in March 2008. Almost a year later, the group reunited on Feburary 28th at Club DGBD for one show. These days, Vadim considers Asia his newly adopted home where his sound and live shows continue to generate a lot of attention (especially in South Korea and Japan). For the past 7 months, he has been seen playing regularly at The Hard Rock Cafe in Seoul, fronting his new band featuring 8 members (and a VJ) from around the globe collectively known as The Wise Guys. The band has received a lot of praise from fans, local media, music journalists, including PR, Groove, Pause, and Eloquence Magazine. The group is planning on touring this Spring in Russia. Vadim has just wrapped up his new album entitled “The Seventh Hourâ€. You can hear 3 tracks ("Pas La Fin Du Monde", "My Guitar", and "Feminine Grace") right here. The album will be available for purchase on CD Baby, and individual tracks will soon be available on iTunes.
