…Autumn of 2002. A few musicians had an idea: why not create a new band, that plays music in a way that it has never been done. What a task... The Flaumandrum pipeband was born. We have developed over the years into a extreem musically renewing group which brings not only our interpretation of traditional Scottish and other Celtic tunes, but also our own freaky compositions. This consept combines all kinds of music with the bagpipes as our voices. Rock'n roll, Rock, funk, reggae, metal, samba, calypso ... combined with our jiggs, reels and airs. Not only that, but we mix those tunes with timeless melodies... Flavoured by the most emotional and fingerbreaking guitar solo's! Impossible you say? We don't thinks so! Just check us out!! Een groep gedreven muzikanten sloeg in het najaar van 2002 de handen in elkaar met het idee iets totaal nieuws te brengen in de muziekwereld. Nu is de Flaumandrum pipeband uitgegroeid tot een extreem muzikaal vernieuwende groep die niet alleen originele bewerkingen brengt van traditionele Schotse en andere Keltische tunes, maar ook eigen werk. Als u op zoek bent naar artiesten die sfeerbrengende optredens op poten zetten, gegoten in een concept dat UNIEK is in Vlaanderen en de Benelux, dan moet u bij ons zijn! Wij mixen niet enkel schotse melodiën, maar in onze freaky bewerkingen combineren we alle soorten muziekstijlen. Van funk over rock naar reggae en metal. Niet te doen?
