Zuvuya
Featuring Michael Travis of the String Cheese Incident
and Jamie Janover of Zilla
Zuvuya is a trio featuring Michael Travis of The String Cheese Incident, Xander Greene and Jamie Janover.Zuvuya is a Mayan term for the universal wave of energy which surrounds us all. Understanding the Zuvuya gives us an expanded awareness of who we are, connects us with higher levels of consciousness, and restores the memory of the infinite possibilities of our being. Creating this understanding is the purpose of the unique instrumental trio called Zuvuya. The collaboration began when drummer Michael Travis and Xander Greene first met in Crested Butte, Colorado in 1999. Travis and Xander played together only a few times over the next several years, as Travis was often on the road with his main musical project, The String Cheese Incident. In early 2002, Boulder musician and 2002-2003 national hammered dulcimer champion, Jamie Janover, joined the band. Jamie's diverse talents for adding unique rhythms and harmonies to the Zuvuya mix solidified the trio's sound. These three self-taught musicians used spontaneous expression to manifest change and growth in both themselves and their listeners.Zuvuya has an unusual instrumentation. The band members switch instruments several times throughout the night. Travis (drums, bass), Xander (guitar, drums) Jamie (hammered dulcimer, drums, mini-kit, percussion), rotate on who plays drums or bass at any given point, occasionally playing 3 drum kits at once.

Motorhome
Late 2004, Matt Thornton and Matt Mahern sit in a Fort Collins bar with red walls and sip drinks named after hell and Elvis Presley, discussing how their band could, quite possibly, take over the world.Motorhome, dreamed up over firery martinis and heated conversation, is now in the process of doing just that. On the path to world domination, Thornton and Mahern picked up local mandolin expert, Darren Radach, who also brought along his accordian and love for hair bands. Motorhome now faces the world a full army of five with two guitars, mandolin, bass, and drums.

Alan Vasquez
I am a one-man band based out of Chicago that creates music for the soul. In a live setting, I loop all the instruments, which range from Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass and an array of electronic equipment, to create a full sound that I have designed. I’ve been touring for two years and already have some big shows to place under my belt. I have opened for bands such as Keller Williams, Jazz Mandolin Project, The Big Wu, and Groovatron.
I also played the Summercamp 2005 festival in Chillicothe, IL. I’m am continuing to push on to see where my path will take me. Whether it blows up or crumbles, I’m going to enjoy every breath of it

Holden Wofford and the Hi-Beams
Halden Wofford and the Hi-Beams’ classic style of honky tonk has a language and culture all to itself, but only takes one quick lesson to learn how to love for a lifetime. The twang of the steel guitar, snap of the snare drum, thump of the stand-up bass and rippin’ electric guitar solos mix with Wofford’s distinctive vocals to create a sound that is familiar yet purely original. Ringing out all along the Front Range of Colorado and beyond, Wofford’s wavering tenor conjures up images of Hank Williams Sr., Buddy Holly and Bob Wills.
