About Me

David 'Michael' Smith is a 28 year old musician, New Mexican transplant from Amarillo, Texas. He moved to Red River, New Mexico in 1998 and began playing music in 2001 at Moreno Valley Cowboy Evening. Michael's style of music includes americana, country, and folk. He is currently releasing a CD with his band, The Houndogs, which is to be released in August 2009. Michael is also working on his solo CD which will be released in the near future. Michael and his wife moved to Colorado Springs in 2008 where he continues to live his dream as a musician.
