I was born and raised in Texas. We lived in San Antonio, TX for several years. Lord help anyone that has to drive in that town. I think the streets there was planned during a drinking spree. I have 2 grown boys, 3 Grandchildren. 3 cats and 1 dog. I was married for 45 wonderful years to James. He went to be with the Lord October 22, 2006. Can't wait to see him again. My first son is Russell, AKA Ricky Russ. He is an Award winning Inspirational Country Music singer. Russell just finished his second CD called "OUTSIDE THE BOX". My youngest is Chris, AKA John Scott. Chris is a Radio Personality in Abilene. He is seen in lots of places around town doing his DJ thingy as well as on "Party Patrol". My grandchildren are Trent (19) a Sophomore at North Central Texas College. He is majoring in music and minoring in English. Brittney is 17, and Brenden (5) in Abilene. I also have two grown step-Grandsons. Brandon and Bopper. They are Debbie's boys. Russell is married to Debbie(6 years) and Chris is married to Kim (9 years). They are both great gals. They keep them "in line". Trent and Brittney are Russell's and Brenden is Chris and Kim's. Brenden is a celebrity in his own right. He has a rare form of Dwarfism and is featured on the Children's Miracle Network Telethon in Abilene for the last 2 years. He has been chosen to be on the National Children's Miracle Network. If you see a small 5 year old that looks like a 9 month old and his Father. That is probably Chris and Brenden. Brenden gets things done regardless of his size. He has us wrapped around his tiny finger. He is our little miracle...................
I love to travel.Camping is one of my passions as well as fishing(as long as I don't have to clean them) I love animals and figure I have had nearly every domesticated animal there is. I have had baby chicks in my bathtub more than one time or in my oven, on low with the door open, when they got wet and cold.. We have had horses, cows, pigeons, quail, ducks, peacocks, rabbits, fish, pigs and probably several others I have missed listing.. I despised the pigs. They wouldn't stay in their pens. Many times I had to chased them down the road and "wheel-barrow" them back.................
I have a wonderful family and am so proud of all of them. I miss my husband, James. If I had him back, my life would be complete. My family was strong and there for me when I needed them most. I can't express how Blessed I am to have them all and to have had James for 45 wonderful years...............
I am so thankful on our 45th anniversary, James and I renewed our wedding vows in church. We were married at my Mom and Dad's home the first time. Clay Jacobs Officiated the renewing of our vows. Little Brenden was my "Flower Boy". He was pushed down the isle in his wheelchair by his Mom, Kim. Of course, we had more flowers than we needed, LOTS MORE by the time he got to the front. It was so Precious. He was 3 years old at the time. My boys "gave me away". My Granddaughter Brittney was my Brides Maid and Grandson, Trent, was James' Best man. Ricky sang a song for us during the ceremony. It was all a wonderful time. Both of our weddings will always be cherished memories..........
God Bless you all. Love and be loved as much as you can and sincerely tell everyone how much you love them. You never know what tomorrow will bring....
