With musical heroes spanning Bach, Lili Boulangere, Louis the Great and Dylan, Australian New Yorker Monique diMattina has worked with artists as diverse as Lou Reed, Queen's Brian May/Roger Taylor and a who’s who of Jazz greats.
diMattina first came to NYC in 2000 as a Fulbright Scholar, performing solo recitals for Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan and Vaclav Havel, and representing Australia at the IAJE Toronto. Her music has since been heard at clubs and festivals all over Australia, New York, Europe and Asia.
diMattina has recorded several albums on Elwood Records, is currently writing for the Ballet Orchestra of New York and scoring the feature film ‘Burlesque Fairytale’ directed by Richard Dorigo.
