About Me
Missy Krueger (Lead Vocals) -- Missy has worked with and been produced by Grammy award winning producer/songwriter Michael Jay (Celine Dion, Martika, Eminem, Kylie Minogue, etc.), Lee Hazlewood, and Don Kirkpatrick (Animotion, Don Henley, John Waite, Rod Stewart, Richard Marx). Missy has two CDs available with longtime song writing partner and producer Dave Polich, Incomprehensible (2005) and House on the Moon (1997). You can purchase these or give a listen at www.missykrueger.com . After being on Safari in Los Angeles for nearly 10 years Missy returned to Green Bay and has performed with other local bands Pumpin' Ethyl, Furious George, and Little Missy. In the fall of 2006, Missy was involved in a very serious hair color accident. This episode proved to be a good thing… she decided to regroup with the Melons. The other side effects of the hair episode she doesn’t want to reveal. However, if you see her speaking to small woodland creatures…uh…please don’t bother her. Missy’s powerful vocals and exciting stage presence ensure a fun time to be had by all who come to see her.

Todd Nault (Lead Guitar/Vocals) -- Todd grew up on the west side of Green Bay in Wisconsin and began his musical career as a bass player. Shortly after he began this career Todd was drafted into the Colonial Armada as a First Lieutenant proudly serving aboard the Battlestar Galactica. After what seemed like several weeks of seeking out and eradicating Cylons he became restless and bored. Todd returned home to hear the 80’s rock gods Edward Van Halen & George (Mr. Scary) Lynch. This proved to be a life-altering event. Todd was so inspired he switched to Electric guitar… A cool yellow one with a whammy bar! He quickly learned the way of the power chord and away he went. Todd was amazed how easy it was to annoy all of his neighbors. He continued to work on his playing skills and began to play in local bands. Todd was lucky enough to play in excellent bands with great musicians such as, Second Nature, Scratch, Points North, Furious George, Big Safari and, of course, The H2O Melons. He has been wowing local crowds with his flamboyant guitar style ever since. Todd is primarily self-taught but has also completed courses through Berklee College of Music. Recently, Todd returned from a brief stint in Her Majesty’s Secret Service to reform the Melons. Along with long-time friends and family the purpose of this group is to have a great time playing the music we all grew up on. Most importantly to show our fans and soon to be fans a great show and a fun time. Heck, even the Queen thinks we are Neat-O.

Joe Calgaro: (Drums/Vocals) -- Joe originally hails from the flatland to the south, but has made his home in Appleton, WI now for almost a decade. He held his first microphone at age 6 hosting…yes, hosting…a grade school talent show. Nobody’s been able to get him to shut up ever since. His first album was The Beatles 1962-1966 and the rest, as they say, is history. He played in his first band Spectrum in 8th grade and won the talent show competition with their power trio rendition of “Let It Be.†How he played the song with no bass pedal or hi-hat is still a mystery to this day. Joe organized and produced his first music festival at age 16 called “Pop Fest ‘86†and spent about 3 months sneaking into bars as the drummer of a backing band for an Elvis impersonator. At age 18, Joe started hanging out at a blues eatery called Duff’s Rooftop where he had the privilege of being invited up on stage to sit in with the legendary Luther Allison. “For a fat little white boy you play alright†could be the greatest compliment he’s ever received. Other bands through the years have included The Classmen, Libido, Double Negative, The Snappers, The 5 O’clock Traffic Jam, Furious George, and The Mulligans. Joe has done studio session work and has had the pleasure of opening for national acts including The Doobie Brothers, Brother Cane, Firehouse, Cry Of Love, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Big Bad Zero, and Jackyl.

Tim Nault (Bass/Vocals) -- Early on, Tim had two friends, who just happen to be brothers and wanted to start a band. Tim wanted to play drums but one of the brothers had purchased a snare drum and some sticks… Damn, okay I'll play guitar. No such luck… the other brother had bought a cheap Les Paul copy and said he could not return it. So Tim got himself a cheap Beatle bass copy with very high string action…better used to shoot arrows with! This combined with a homemade amp he got from his uncle, turned on, and set to max volume… you guessed it, the Electric Tuba was born! Tim then followed in his idol's persona by practicing everybody's favorite party song "Tiptoe Through the Tulips." He couldn't get enough and knew this would lead him onto great things. Tim has been blessed by having the opportunity of playing with some fantastic friends and musicians in bands such as Expressions, Second Nature, Big Safari, and H2O Melons.
