I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman named Sasha. Isn't she lovely? She has kept me in a constant state of amazement for over 7 years now. She's from the Czech Republic, a country that I soon fell in love with after falling in love with her.
I don't subscribe to double standards of any kind. It's my number one pet peeve. I'm not a hater. Never have been, never will be. If you're a hater, waste your breath on someone else. Ladies, if you flirt with me and cop an attitude when I flirt back, you can't be my friend. I don't use racial slurs or words that disrespect women. Anyone who does can't be my friend, regardless of how they mean it. One people, one language... get me?
I'm a cynic and I'm ok with that. My best friend says I'm the world's biggest cynic but I'm way too cynical to believe that. It's a self defense mechanism I developed to cope with the world around me. If not for being a cynic, the world would be way too depressing. As it stands, I expect the worst and the beautiful things in life keep me amazed. I'm not on a mission to eradicate stupidity from the world. I just want to point it out and make fun of it.

My Interests

I love spending time with my wife. When I'm alone, I like reading books or Playing Everquest. My wife and I go to the Ballet and Opera occasionally and we go to Shadowbox Cabaret as often as we can.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TANYA MICHELLE!

I'd like to meet:

Roger Staubach, Jennifer Tilly, Stephen R. Donaldson, Robin Williams and Stupid Flanders.
It Took me a couple of minutes to see it.

Music:

I'm still a loyal fan of Enigma. In my twenties, I liked Berlin, Til Tuesday and Yaz. Today at the age of 44, my favorite bands are Godsmack and Breaking Benjamin. I hate country music and I hate hip hop. I'm not sure which I hate the most. Does it matter?

Movies:

I like those ANXT ridden movies that have heavy psychological impact such as The Breakfast Club, The Prince of Tides, Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting. Yes, I play Everquest. Above is my main character, Mugchug Foambeard, a dwarven cleric. For you non-rpg players, a cleric is a healer.

Television:

I'm a big fan of the modern day adult cartoon shows such as Family Guy (Stewie Griffin Rocks) and Southpark generally because they make fun of everyone and everything. Anyone who can't appreciate that kind of humor is way too uptight. I hate reality TV, it's too unrealistic. As far as TV drama's go, I like "House" the best, followed by "Bones."

Books:

1st and 2nd Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Most of the works of R.A. Salvatore, J.R.R. Tolkein, and of course, the Harry Potter series.

Heroes:

Artists are my heroes, and not just painters and sculpters. All artists, including actors, comedians, singers, dancers, musicians ect. I revere them above doctors. Think about it. What would the world be without Doctors? What would the world be without artists? Which world would you rather live in? Personally, I'd rather take my chances in a world without doctors. Doctors may save lives but artists are the ones who make life worth living.
