People who are open minded and are happy with life in general. Despite not ever learning to play an instrument, I talk about music a lot. So it doesn't hurt to have a love for music, particularly rock music. I also like people who have a great sence of humor and a thick skin. Watching for falling egos.
Music:
All kinds of rock from classic rock to modern hard core. I'm a huge fan of Maynard James Keenan (Tool and A Perfect Circle). Lately I've been leaning toward hard rock with intense and complex music with deep and thought provoking lyrics. I own CD's by everyone from SRV, Floyd, and Rush to Atreyu, Coheed and Cambria, and Slipknot.
