"You are who you are now, for better or worse, and you can't go back. Just let it go and be who you are."
Wendy Hayes-Blood Plague &copy
Hi, my name's Chris. I'm a married father of a wonderful and beautiful 2-year-old daughter named Hailey. I've been writing since I was fourteen and have completed 2 other books, which I've let sit in a box in my home and collect dust. When I started writing Blood Plague&copy, it was more to kill time while I was at work, or to fill the void in my life that opened after I completed the last book. Until this point all my writing has had an air of immaturity to it, and although there is a lot of immaturity in Blood Plague&copy, I think it's done in a way that creates an atmosphere of realism, which is difficult when you're writing a story about Vampires. Blood plague&copy takes into consideration many of life's atrocities and miseries, while at the same time incorporating the necessity of love and companionship. The fact that some of my characters are Vampires is only a sub-plot, and in the grand scheme of the novel, only assists certain people along their journeys. The main theme of the book is finding your true self, and realizing no matter how long and far you search, the true you has been inside you the whole time. I think it's very important for people to figure out who they really are, because if you don't, you'll live a life of deception from others and mostly from yourself. When you live your life in a web of lies, you'll no doubt find yourself in a state of despair. Throughout the book many touchy subjects are brought up. Death, Aids, murder, corruption, homelessness and poverty, and others. This is a far cry from some of my other work, which is more 'live in the now' and contains lots of immediate action and violence. Blood Plague&copy delved deeper into the souls of both human and Vampire, and takes into consideration the effects of becoming a Vampire from different perspectives, and the results on the humans who love them. My wife says it's a masterpiece, but I can only take her opinion with a grain of salt. It's the opinion of the public, which will either verify or contradict her opinion. I hope she's right.
This is the Official page for my first major novel titled Blood Plague(&copy). Obviously, I can't get into the intimate details of the story, because I'd rather you buy it and read it, but if, by chance, you are a close friend or family member, send me a message and I'll hook you up with a copy, some how. I can, however, give you the basic premise and such, because the whole thing is copywritten to me and nobody else. I'm just not sure when and where I will make it available. Perhaps in my blog.
It's important that you know, that this is a novel I see more as a movie, and that being the case, I based a lot of my characters on actors and actresses I found intriguing. So if you see pics of celebs here, you'll know why. Because they are images of how I see my important characters portrayed.
The main point of this website is because I want to introduce myself to prospective publishers and get opinions and advice. Knowing the premise of my book might encourage people to find me, when I am unable to find them. So...enjoy.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Stephen King, Anne Rice(again), Wes Craven, Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Smith, Steven Colbert, Daniel Johns, Christian Bale, Ellen Degenerous, Tim Burton, Matt Groening, Bono, and others.

One of the people I'd most like to meet is Zindy Neilson. Not only did I love her name so much I've used it for one of my main characters, but I got a lot of inspiration from her work. She's a brilliant artist and I hope to commision her to do my novel artwork. Check out her website at www.zindy.zone.dk
