My name's Scott (you guessed that already, didn't you?) and I'm a single/divorced father of one, living in central Ohio. By day I'm a software architect at a financial services company, and when I'm off the clock I enjoy aviation, music, friends, home improvement, fatherhood, cooking, gardening, swimming, bicycling, pet ownership and the stuff mentioned in my Interests section.
A long time ago on the side I played keys semi-professionally in rock, blues, country and alternative bands. I've also been learning how to play the guitar over the last couple of years - what a fun pastime.
Did I mention that I love aviation? Columbus is a great place to fly around, although weather can certainly be challenging. I'm slowly working on my instrument rating, but until then then I'm just having fun in better weather visiting area destinations, especially the ones with great food. ;-)
What kind of a person am I? That's pretty subjective, but here's what I'm told I usually am (at least outside of work, you know how that goes). Outgoing, friendly and considerate (even geekishly so), thoughtful, reasonably well read, grounded and self-aware, a great dad, sensitive but pragmatic and not a game player or into big drama. But you may see me differently, and that's OK by me!
I'm all for meeting interesting, healthy, balanced and kindred spirits - these combined are a rare and valued thing, in which case, please chat me up!
