The group was formed in 1998 in city Pushkin (St.-Petersburg).

Vladimir Rychkov (drums).The first concert took place on March, 6th the same year in school 500 Pushkin.
In the spring of 1998 "Zvezda"participates in competition "Young talents ",
in 1999 has taken on it(him) the third place, and in 2000 - the first then acted at gala concert in BKZ "Oktjabr'skiy ".
The same year the group plays at festival "Pushkin Drive".
During same time "Zvezda"the beginnings actively to play clubs of St.-Petersburg ("Faculty ", "Manhattan ", "Fish fabrique", "Port ") .
In 2001 the first first official album which was let out(released) several years later by Maxim Gorskov on the collection *quot has been written down; Our music in a format mp3 1". From the end of 2001 on 2003 group worked above a new material. After a long break in May, 2003 the group shows the songs at a concert in the house of culture Pushkin city. This performance(statement) has partially been embodied on video for the new musical program Pushkin of a cable television under the name "Our music ". It was occurrence of group "Zvezda"on TV. After that the group became one of constant participants Pushkin rock concerts. In 2004 the group in a little bit updated structure (guitarist Valentine Skripilov was added) shows the acoustic program at 1-st Pushkin acoustic rock-festival where already known for much songs could be heard in new sounding. In 2005 in group there was a pianist and the -vocalist Venus. In group it(she) sang one song "I have seen you ". After the next change in the structure in August, 2006 the group has begun record of the second album.
the group participated in competition "the Art-studio "2004, 2005, 2006. Also acted on a known holiday of graduates "Scarlet sails "2005-2006, island Vasilevskogo passed(taken place) on an arrow in St.-Petersburg.The hero
