Impalement is the Arnhem (NL) based metal band that plays a mix between American and European death metal with a touch of gore. Fast brutal riffs are the basis for low grunts and high pitched screams. Impalement plays technical but agressive and groovy. Due to their dynamic stage presentation this is a band that is not easily forgotten.
The band was founded by gitarists Sander and Neet at the beginning of 2005. It took one and half years and a few member changes to complete the line-up with bassist EJ, drummer Bater and grunter Marcel. Autumn 2006 they played their first and sold out venue in Willemeen. In december of the same year they recorded the three track promo "Critter recordings". It was received well which led to numerous gigs. During the second half of 2007 a multitrack recording was made for the demo "Necrophilic Beast". Fast paced brutality that is kicked into an even higher gear by the new drummer Marko Kamp, the replacement for Bater. Due to family extension Bater left Impalement.
