GCI is a school and performing company of professional actors in New York City. GCI is the sister company of the L.A.-based comedy improv company, The Groundlings.Our 60 seat theater is home to some of the funniest performers in the city. And nearly all of our shows come with a ticket price of $10 or less! For more information on our shows, go to SHOWS.GCI is also a school that offers a full training program, including short form improv, long form improv, comedy writing, and specialty workshops. Graduates of our program perform in our theater. We also have shows in which our students get to perform, gaining valuable stage experience.Can't get here? That's okay, we'll bring the comedy to you! We are mobile entertainers who will customize a performance just for you and bring it to your party, school or corporate event. We'll even come teach a workshop. Improv techniques are proven team-builders (and they're fun!).
