ELIJAH HAS BEEN FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS IN THE PICU TRYING TO BEAT INFECTIONS AND CHRONIC PANCREATITIS...WE WILL MOST LIKELY BE BRING HIM HOME IN THE NEXT FEW WKS ON HOSPICE CARE TO HELP KEEP HIM COMFORTABLE AND SO THAT HE DOES NOT CONTINUE TO GET POKED AND MESSED WITH IN THE HOSPITAL.ELIJAH DEVELOPED PANCREATITIS FROM THE SEIZURE MEDICINE DEPAKOTE THAT HE WAS TAKING FOR THE PAST YR AND A HALF. HE IS STILL OUR SOLDIER AND STILL TRYING TO FIGHT SO PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS AND ALSO MY DAUGHTER WHO IS NOW 13 AND ALTHOUGH SHE IS SO STRONG I KNOW THIS IS DEVASTING TO HER!

I have had to grow up soo much in the past 3 yrs. My son Elijah has been through more in his little life then I have in my 30 yrs. My daughter is amazing..honor roll, horseback riding, softball, and an all around good kid. Elijah is making me every day appreciate life a little more. I have an amazing husband and wonderful friends who are more like sisters to me then friends. I have a very supportive family and all in all I have a wonderful life.
I hope to meet as many positive people as possible to share my son's story with.
