I am here for Friends

About Me

Hmmm. About me? Believe it or not I was a premature baby born two months early. I weighed a little over a five pound bag of sugar. Still to this day I am just as sweet. On occasion I have been known to be a p.i.t.a and not so pleasant person to be around. I try not to make it habit forming and those around me let me know to cool the shit. This would be classified as having a Shane day.
On the flip side, I love to make people laugh because life is too short to be miserable all the time. Everyone has their days but I am an easy going and up for just about anything type of person.
I come from a small family with me being the tallest and the biggest wise ass of them all. I have one brother, who is married, and of course my parents. They reside in central New York. You know where the deer and the antelope play. I, myself, live in New Hampshire. My ideal locale would be to pick up and move to a much warmer climate. Shoveling and scraping snow off of my car has lost its fun. Maybe I should ask myself was it ever fun.

My Interests

If you have a Harley Davidson you are part of the HOG, Harley Owners Group. I am part of UOG, Unicycle Owners Group. Is there even such a thing? I would put my contact information for parties and group events up but I can barely balance on the thing. When I get good to the point I can juggle chainsaws and balance my "UNI" ,while being blindfolded, than I will update myspace.

I like football, skiing, watching hockey and working out. I want to be like Arnold. Just Kidding. That would require going to the gym as a full time job. I have tried golf several times and have trouble keeping my ball in play. I am not sure if I would have taken up bowling because I would not want to carry around 16 pound balls.

Sports are not everything. I like being on vacation and seeing different parts of the United States. Road trips to nowhere are often times fun and interesting. It is amazing where you will end up when you just get up and go. Spending time with friends and family is also equally important.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet individuals who are caring, honest and like to have fun. You know the type that can go to a wedding, dance like a fool and not care how they look doing so. I have been known to brake out the leg and air guitar before to spice things up a bit. I found that a good guitar solo works the best.

Music:

Sure I listen to it. I am not partial to any one type of music. I just remebered that I do not like opera. Using OSHA approved earplugs I still do not think I could handle that crap.

Movies:

Popcorn, peanuts and cotton candy. The flavor of the movies. Did you know that nachos are becoming more common in movie theaters? The going price is somewhere around $7.95 without the cheese and salsa. Than they should be called chips right? I really do not know the actually price since everything is so overpriced anyways. Basic economics 101 states that price depends on demand.

A dark movie theater often puts me to sleep so the movie has to keep my interest. The movies that help keep my interest are mystery, comedy, animated and sometimes sad ones. I must say that I did watch the Notebook on a flight from SFO-CVG. If I must say so myself it was a good movie. I do not watch movies over and over so I can repeat the lines and place them into everyday conversation. Do not get me wrong there are times that I watch a movie more than once.

Television:

I recently got inducted into the WOF watchers club. This is a group of individuals who use to watch it and just got reintroduced to the classic game itself.

I find myself watching court tv where all the cool detective and forensic files type programming takes place. It is amazing what they can do with DNA and technology these days to find the bad guy. Having played football before, I enjoy watching Sunday football during the season. If I watch it that is fine but the world does not stop on football Sunday.

I used to follow Raw and Smackdown (WWE) on a regular basis. I know that it is fake but it is a form of adult soap opera. The story lines change so little now that it is not worth it. Some people think that it was never worth it in the first place.

Books:

No worm here . I am a magazine and newspaper type of reader. There is nothing against the book readers of America. b style=position:absolute;left:137;top:15;font-family:verdana; font-size:8pt;

Heroes:

You are my hero you are everything I wish I could be...Wait a minute why did a Bette Midler song just pop into my head? My parents who brought me into the world are my heroes. They have been the foundation to my being. They have told and taught me right from wrong. If I need someone to talk to they are there to listen and offer advice. Granted I have learned from my mistakes and that has made me a stronger person.

My friends have also helped me realize that life is so much better when a negative energy source is eliminated. Being around positive energy makes everything that much better and worth while. Thanks
