Nashville Rollergirls v. Tampa Tantrums, March 14, 2009!!
It's time to prepare for battle - because the Tampa Tantrums are coming to town!
It's been 8 long months since the Nashville Rollergirls, traveled to Tampa and suffered a tough loss. So are you ready to see The Nashville Rollergirls take bragging rights from the Tampa Tantrums? In the first Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) sanctioned home bout ever? (this one counts towards our national rankings!)
Then come to the Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 14th, and watch history unfold!
For your convenience, we have compiled a handy reference guide of everything you need to know about the Nashville Rollergirls in 2009.

The Nashville Rollergirls are still looking for more skaters!

If you're female and 21+, you are welcome to come out to one of our practices and watch how we roll. If you decide you'd like to join, we'll give you some materials so you can bone up on your skills for a minimum skills test (required of all incoming skaters). Additionally, Mondays from 6-7pm an NRG skater will be available to train interested girls on the skills required for derby.

Our next Open Tryouts will be March 8, at 1pm at the TN State Fairgrounds .Those who pass the skills test are then welcome to join NRG and skate with us at practices. If you're interested in trying out for NRG, contact [email protected] .

If you just can't wait to get involved with NRG, we still need Referees and volunteers! This is a great way to see what we're all about and get your skate in the door.
