My interests range from nice home furnishings to gourmet meals to hunting/fishing in the great outdoors. I have been intrigued by new technology and felt an inner urge to make things fit together nicely since as far back as I can remember. I like to be organized and know where my things are located. I am also very detail oriented... "Don't forget the curtains, and the rug for the kitchen floor!" I have a way with taking care of guests that frequent any restaraunt I am employed with. I find it equally important that the product is quality. It's important to get the small touches on a meal to really set it apart from others. I.E. Parsley, kale, lemons, and any and all sauces to add that finishing touch. Hunting is something I have been doing from the time I was 4-5 years old. It was definately a writ of passage at 12 years, when I killed my first deer. I still get the adrenaline shakes, to this day, when I've got one in the crosshairs!!!
I would really like to meet a young woman that has goals for herself and a high level of commitment. Seeing as I am almost officially in my mid-twenties, I think settling down with a special someone and getting a family started is definately coming up in order of importance. I look back at these past 25 years, and wonder how it's been 25 already. I'm not looking to tie the knot in a hurry, but my attention is definately focused on finding a good woman to share and build a life with. I believe that honesty and communication are two most important elements in any relationship. I would like to find a woman that is no taller than 5'6". Standing at 5'9", a high heal on a woman over 5'6" will make me look short. Okay, so I'm a bit self-concious about my height, or the lack of!!! I'm not extremely picky, but loyalty and love are of absolute importance. I've been guilty of saying: "I'll never get married." For those of you who weren't aware, that's just a mental block to avoid the potential disappointments that can result from a commitment at that level. I've always wanted to get married, and eventually have a couple of children. I know one thing for sure: I don't want to grow old and be alone too!!!
Music has always been an important element in my life. I enjoy all different types of music. My favorite is definately Rock 'n' Roll. I was listening to Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and Lynard Skynard before I was able to walk. I grew older and explored the new wave of music that was part of my generation: Grunge/Alternative. From Alice in Chains to Sublime, hard, soft, or rythm and blues, it's all evocative of one feeling or another. I did begin listening to Rap and R&B when I reached high school. I didn't like all of it, but 2Pac, Biggie, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, DMX, Masta P, and UGK were all favorites of mine. I have a lot of love for the old schools as well: Hank Sr., Hank Jr., Johnny Cash, David Alan Coe,and Willie Nelson. I enjoyed some of the newer country artists too: Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, and Clay Walker. To save myself from excessive typing on this subject, I'll close by saying I respect all music for the reason that it is written to entertain and meant only for people to enjoy.
Wow, I could list a plethora of movie titles as well. I'll minimize it as best I can: Tombstone, Goodfellas, Casino, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, (Any work of Quentin Tarantino) Shawshank Redemption, Spun, Blow, Top Gun, Dances With Wolves, and Gremlins. This is only the one's that popped in my head as I was typing. There are many more, but I'll call this my Top All-Time Favorite Movies
Growing up, I watched a lot more television than time permits these days. I liked ALF, Coach, Saved By The Bell, The Wonder Years, and of course The Simpsons. Currently, I only catch my 2-3 times a week fix of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network: Family Guy, Futurama, Aquateen Hunger Force, and Moral Orel.
I wish I could list an equal number of books in relation to the movies I've seen. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I recently read THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED by Dr. M. Scott Peck. It was a fundametal explanation of the human psyche. Very interesting and also over-explanative. I enjoyed reading almost all of John Grisham's novels. I also remember from school: A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain, Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Anthem by Ayn Rand, and Night by Elie Weisel. I read more books than those mentioned here, but these were, quite obviously, the Best of the Best.
I guess the closest thing to a hero I had, as a child, was Liono, Leader of the Thundercats. Possibly He-Man, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and Captain Planet. One more that can be added are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they were the Heroes in a Half Shell. Liono takes first prize, because He was the only one I ever dressed up as for Halloween. Bright red hair, an official Thundercats T-shirt, and the sword over my back.
