To be honest I have always loved letters, ever since I can remember I have taken great interest in their many forms, especially the more artistic and Ancient scripts like the Hieroglyphics in Egypt, Sanskrit of the Vedas, Mayan icons, ancient Hebrew and the beautiful movement of Arabic Calligraphy. If you can imagine a melding pot of all these shapes twisted and tangled together along with hard straight-line aspects you would find the style that works best for me. The first time that I painted with aerosols was back in 1990, but I had been using an airbrush along with all kinds of markers and pastels to create colourful letterforms years earlier.
